about glenmoor audio

one room, good ears, no runaround.

Glenmoor Audio is a small podcast studio in Asheville. We take the raw recordings hosts dread sorting through and turn them into episodes that sound finished — without the agency-sized invoice or the slow back-and-forth.

how this started

it began with a friend's terrible zoom recording

Glenmoor Audio started the way most small studios do — a favor that got out of hand. A friend was three episodes into a show, drowning in two-hour recordings, AC hum, and a feed that wouldn't submit to Apple. One late night of cleanup later, they shipped an episode they were actually proud of, and word got around.

Since then it's grown into a proper studio, but the core hasn't moved: the person who edits your show is the person you talk to. No account managers, no junior handoffs, no project you can't get a straight answer on.

We're based in Asheville and work with hosts everywhere — over a shared folder, a phone call, and a turnaround you can plan around. Files in, finished episode out.

what we actually believe

a podcast lives or dies on whether people finish the episode. our whole job is making sure the audio never gives them a reason to stop listening.

Everything else — the show notes, the distribution, the cover art — is just removing the excuses not to publish.
what guides the work

four things we won't budge on

keep your voice

Editing should be invisible. We cut the dead weight, not the things that make you sound like a person.

answer fast

A first cut inside 48 hours, and a reply to your email the same day where we can. Slow is its own kind of expensive.

nothing held hostage

Masters, project files, transcripts — all yours, handed over. If you leave, you leave with everything.

price you can read

Per episode or per series, on a flat quote. No surprise line items, no mystery hourly creep.

what working with us feels like

plain, in order, no mystery

01

a short call first

Five minutes on the phone to hear what your show is, how often you record, and where you're stuck. It's free and there's no pitch attached — sometimes we'll just point you somewhere better.

02

a shared folder

You drop raw files in, we pull them out. No portals to learn, no software to install. Record on whatever you already use and send it our way.

03

one round of edits, by ear

The same editor handles your show every week, so it stays consistent. You get a first cut to review, leave notes if you want changes, and we lock it.

04

published, or handed back ready

We can master to spec, write the show notes, and push it live to Apple, Spotify and YouTube — or hand you a finished file to publish yourself. Your call, every time.

why people stay
i've worked with two other editors who treated me like a ticket number. here i text one person and the episode just gets handled.
